The rules that govern your use of Trimly.

Please read these terms carefully. By creating a Trimly account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Trimly.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Trimly ("Trimly", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the Trimly mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By registering an account, accessing the Service, or clicking "I agree", you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Trimly is a software platform for barber discovery, appointment workflows, messaging, style guidance, account management, and subscription-backed premium features. Paddle payments are used only for Trimly software subscriptions, not for in-person barber services. The Service includes:
Trimly is a software provider only. We are not a barbershop, we do not employ barbers, we do not perform grooming services, and Paddle does not process payments for any in-person barber services arranged outside the Trimly software subscription.
You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@trimly.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. Trimly is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised account access due to your failure to safeguard credentials.
You may not create multiple accounts or use another person's account without permission.
When you request a booking through Trimly, you are making a request to the barber, who may accept or decline. A booking is confirmed only when the barber accepts and you receive a confirmation notification.
Cancellation policies are set by individual barbers and displayed on their profile. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in restrictions on your ability to book. Trimly is not responsible for any losses arising from barber-initiated cancellations.
Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your genuine experience. You must not post fake, misleading, or defamatory reviews. Trimly may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
Barbers using Trimly are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Trimly. Trimly does not supervise, direct, or control the barbering services you provide. You are solely responsible for the quality and safety of your services, and for complying with all applicable licensing, tax, and employment laws in your jurisdiction.
You agree to maintain accurate, up-to-date information on your profile, including services offered, pricing, location, and availability. Misleading listings may result in account suspension.
Barber subscriptions unlock software features and plan-based platform terms as follows:
Any non-subscription commercial terms for barber services are separate from Paddle-processed Trimly software subscription payments.
Barbers must maintain professional conduct in all communications and services. Discrimination, harassment, or abuse of any kind towards clients will result in immediate account termination.
All subscription payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, you are entering into a payment agreement with Paddle, and Paddle's terms and privacy policy apply to that transaction. See Paddle's Terms of Use.
Trimly offers monthly and annual subscription plans for both clients and barbers. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year.
Subscription fees purchase access to Trimly software features. They do not pay for physical goods or in-person grooming services.
Please see our separate Refund Policy for full details. In general, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where a refund is granted at Trimly's sole discretion.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price change via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Trimly name, logo, software, design, and content are owned by Trimly and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, reviews, messages). By uploading content, you grant Trimly a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights to grant this licence.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TRIMLY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY BARBERS, OR FOR ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN CLIENTS AND BARBERS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIMLY'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TRIMLY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
IN NO EVENT WILL TRIMLY BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trimly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may close your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration in New York, NY, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
